Did you install a fax option with this machine?

This shouldn't be a problem, sometimes it happens on installation but will go after a reboot

If this came up after installing a Fax option and does not go away after cycling power off then on, check the jumper for the SRAM on the Fax board. If this is a machine that has been setting for some time, check the SRAM battery on the Fax board.

Fax board battery is low or you didn't set the jumper to on....

Reseat the Fax boards and make sure the MBU is firmly connected to the FCU.

this usually happens with machines that have been sitting unplugged for a while. In this case the battery on the fax board is trying to retain data and eventually runs down. This is the battery on the small plug-in board on the fax board.
It is a 3 volt, but unfortunately soldered in. Your best bet is to solder in a holder for a 3 volt CR2450 Li battery, so in the future a change out will be painless.
