Sounds like an issue with the file more than the machine. Some times print settings are imported for whatever printer was set as the default printer when the file was created. Change the default printer to the 1035 and then copy and paste the text to a new Word document. There was an old Hot Topic post on this issue a couple of years ago.

      Print a Windows test page.
If it looks good, it is an application problem. Look at the image by doing a print preview.
      Try printing a PDF document.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

If you're using the PCL6 driver and the Word program is an older one, drop back to a PCL5e. It is a PCL6 lite.
Otherwise download and install the latest RPCS driver.

I agree with everyone here. Microsoft Word is known to be a problem application as printing goes, but the PCL5e driver might help.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

I had this problem when trying to print from the latest version of Adobe Reader. Change the print setting to print as image.

              Hi

You must change a parameter in your driver, in the printing quality option,
true type area, change for "Binary image"
