Make sure you follow 1.22.2 in the Service Manual, if the card is not inserted correctly you could have a bent or damaged contact.

      thnx.
i have the ps3 in the 1 slot and after ckin it on my laptop i see it shows prnt n scan that
has me believing it was a merged pull from another copier.
i was cking the card for the zoffer files that cause the panel message to come up"card was already installed..
what complicates it more is i have a 2nd card on the 2 slot that i cant read and
have no idea if it was a ps3,encryption card or something else.
i didnt have my laptop to ck it in the computer.

The service manual says, slot 1=System Card slot 2=option card(in this case, PS3 card) slot 3=service

if you have more that one option, then you must merge other options to the PS3 card.

Try to put PS card in service slot, that may solve your problem...

if i remember right there are 2 slots only, and the ps3 card card must be in the top slot after merge the print scan card can be removed from slot 2..slot 2 is also used for firmware updates
