    [CQ] mfc 2500

    this machine prints black lines , i would like to know if it could be related to the pcu or the transfert belt ,it does the same in color,the transfert belt has never been changed. 0174_001.pdf

    Looks like a dirty charge roller to me. If you have 80,000 pages on the black drum unit, then replace it. Otherwise clean the charge roller.

      Looks like a charge roller issue in the k drum. Lines that dark and repetitive usually require the drum to be replaced and not just cleaning the charge roller.

            If it is just the same black lines on the color copies then correcting the black is all that needs to be done. If you have similar line in one or more of the colors, then for that/those color drum unit(s) you will have to do the same thing as for the black drum.

              it doesn't seem to be a transfer belt issue . think it is charge roller problem and it is better to change the whole k unit
