Make sure the login you are using has a password. As the computer is on a domain you must add it to the username, e.g. domain\username or username@domain

in this company there are 60 computers which 58 scanner works perfectly.

in these two that the windows 7 operating system reinstall is causing the problem .

the folder has all permits, this no password

you give me a good idea

looking on the internet I found this:

when you disconnect a computer from the domain , is best done through the Network Identification Wizard , not giving the little button to change hair , because then the team name takes the domain suffix (eg , maquina.dominio.local ) and then becomes "crazy" because users do not coincide with that machine .

        What do you think?

hahaha, give the crazy machine Ritalin, then, with this many workstations, setup scanning to a central server, this will head off the problems you get every time you get new computers or reimage the existing machines. Don't forget to update the firmware.

I have a feeling that the other 58 computers that work are all Windows XP. The version of SMB used on XP does not require a password. The version used on Windows 7 and later versions requires the use of a login with a password.

If the computers were in a workgroup network and then added to a domain, is it possible that the scanner is still trying to authenticate with the local machine user accounts? I've seen some sloppy AD integration techniques where the AD user name will match the local account's user name, which just ends up creating all kinds of permissions issues.

Have the customer's IT group make sure there are no local accounts on the machine, and that the scan folders are set with read/write permissions for the group Domain Users, or for any user that's using an account to authenticate to the machine.
