I am going to assume that you have already check the connection for the drum and tray heaters to the power supply. You also need to check that the drum heater is present and plugged in to the frame. See parts catalog Frame Section 2 Item 18 for the location of the drum heater on the 6001, upper frame 2 item 12 for the 1075. The connector that plugs into the back wall of the frame is also shown. There is also the possibility that the heater is bad and needs to be replaced.

Update: Friday i set the humidity control on 30%.....this morning i went by the customer... And no problems this morning.... Hope it works now!

I had a similar issue a long time ago were we set the weekly timer to switch the machine on a couple of hours prior to the customers starting time. By the time the customer arrived the machine was nice and warm ready to use with no blurred images

Do they switch the machine off at night? Set the machine to wake 30min before they start working. If i can remember ricoh machine do have a admin setting for that.

The issue to me does look like humidity on the drum, we had some color 60ppm machines do the same thing only in the mornings a lot of times the first part of the page was shaded grey or blackish until the machine warmed up our only at that point was to replace the drum with a new one most of the cleaning, waxing, and setting changes only fixed it for a very short time. We usually just have to make the setting changes, and replace the drum itself for the problem to go away.
