You have a problem with the USB cable that connects from the IPU to the Op panel.

The SMC report you have provided is excellent as the SC672-11 or SC672-12 does not register in the SMC.

Replaced the cable and it will fix your issue.

I have had many of these issues on the 03 series.

That's a good bit of info, cheers, I'm looking at the parts manual now trying to find it.

Is the ops panel only connected by that USB cable?
