[Error Code] SC 399 of MPC 7500

    Dear All,

I am very new to this forum. Recently I had a trouble with error SC 399 of Ricoh MPC 7500. Do you have any possible explanation regarding that error?

    Thanks

Yep, Yellow drum motor having a hard time turning,

      SC399 D Drum motor error: Y
The motor is trying to rotate at power on or during normal operation but
there is an excessive load on the drum shaft. The motor has no traction
(due to a bent cleaning blade, for example).

In other words, the lovely machine you have is due a PM. Fit the parts these things need according to the PM table. They run much cleaner and happier if you do.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

            Dear Slimslob,

Thanks for your clarification and attachment. However, could you please confirm that attachment regarding to MP C7500 machine and its real part number? Moreover, When I interchange Y drum motor with C Drum motor the error was changed to SC 398. So I think it was happened due to old Y defect drum motor. Please confirm my action.

Yes, the SC398 is the error code for the cyan motor.

The XREF work sheet is a cross reference between model numbers and Product Codes.

According to your experience that motor(Y drum motor) can be defect due to any reason. And I would be greatly appreciate if you could provide FSM and parts catalogue of that model.

                    Thanks again for great help.
