Help has anyone had this code from start up cannot get into service mode have also tried powering machine on without HDD. I have heard to look at controller.

Service manual says Controller PCB, and I would concur with that. Check the easy things first by swapping the RAM DIMMs from another machine and checking all of the connectors are good. Bent pins in the wiring harnesses are common.

Controller communication error with the operation panel error. Re-seat connections between controller and BICU, control panel and IPU and BCU.

* Controller board installed incorrectly or defective
* Operation panel connector loose or defective
* The controller is not completely shutdown when you turn the main switch off
