[CQ] clx 9251 dark background on copies (prints good)

Hi all,

I was hoping someone could help me with this one.

As in the title dark copies both b/w & colour, colour copies have a yellow background even if copying a blank white page & b/w copies show a dark black background.

My colleague ordered the scanner unit, I went in and replaced that but the issue remains, while there I also updated the firmware.

Have any of you guys seen this issue before?

I have not seen that but those flat cables are hard to seat correctly. If you have removed any boards or cables you may check that. After one school at Samsung I don't want to pull any boards unless I absolutely have to. Everyone had problems with the flat connectors. If printing is fine you may want to reseat the scanner cable at the board. I did not see any bulletins on it. I have also witnessed connector ends being pulled out of a board where it is soldered in.
