    SCX-6545 finisher jam code L-1

The jam code should be 7-1. Sorry about that.
I originally posted this under the wrong model number.
In case you are curious, here is a link to that:

I now have pictures though, and quite possibly have found the solution as well:
First, the paper stopped in the finisher, and here's what that looked like:20160419_091820.jpg20160419_091837.jpg
Yeah, I've worked on Lanier equipment for decades, and their test originals are what I am most familiar with, so that's why they are here.
Anyway, while digging through the finisher for a blocked paper path or sensor, I came across this:

It's kind of hard to see, but the pulley in the middle is cracked halfway through. That was especially stupid of me to miss as I'd already removed that pulley once and cleaned the one way because that failure was one of my initial thoughts here.
That pulley and the one just out of the picture are on order, that should work and I'll let you know if it does.
Sorry for the pictures being a quarter turn out of phase.

So the pulley is spinning on the one-way? Good catch! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

My thoughts on half my calls. Most of these machines are not easy to work on. Good find.

Well, the pulleys just came in, and not a moment too soon. While the machine initially only jammed duplexed prints, I got a call later on this afternoon that it is jamming simplex prints now as well.
And that was the main thing that threw me off, that initially just duplexed prints jammed. A rational person would think that everything would jam more or less equally if that pulley was broken.
I suppose that's similar to the "Why ask why" threads blackcat4866 did a while back though, stuff just happens.
I'll be replacing those pulleys tomorrow, and I'll post the results later on then.
For what it is worth, the pulleys I ordered were part number JC81-03515A.

That appears to have worked rather nicely, so I think we're done here.
