[Misc] CLX-9251NA BootLoop after replacing HDD

After replacing the broken hard drive with the CLX-9251NA, the printer went into a bootloop. After reading the forum, I concluded that I needed an image to restore the hard drive (or firmware), but all refer to BTSP, and I do not have access to it. On the old disk, I found the file CLX_9301_9201_EV11.11.13.19_FS_11.01.00.00.50.tar. gz, the size of 589 megabytes, can it help me? If not, then I ask the community for help.

Those files are too big to send email. Sometimes people are nice enough to post them to sites you have to register on. Only Samsung dealers have access to the Samsung website with the software. You could try and call the 800 tech number which I do not have. Maybe someone here will sell it to you?

I found the firmware file CLX-92x1_93x1_V6.P6.03.hds, at startup I press * 0 # to start the firmware update mode,
        the screen appears,

        DSC_1324.JPG

but the firmware is not updated.
I copied the file to a flash memory FAT32. Maybe I need something to press to start the process?

You need a recovery firmware to get your machine running again. BTSP or GSPN have it both ready for download. After recovery, you can update to latest firmware. Solved. Hope it helps!

I have the same issue, however now that BTSP is no longer listing Samsung printer info & firmware etc is there another site I can try?

            Thanks in advance.

HP has bought the Samsung printer division and they are posting f/w on their support site. It's open to the public, no login required. It doesn't have it for every machine yet, but eventually it's all supposed to be there.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
