    Samsung clx-3170fw

Hello guys, a customer has just brought a SAMSUNG CLX-3170FW in, as he used glossy paper, and its wrapped/stuck around the fuser, has anyone got a service manual that shows how to take the fuser out? ive undone the 4 screws, and have tried pulling fuser out, but it seems to be stuck down left hand side, and i dont want to force it out , thanks in advance

The CLX-3175 series is wired through a hole in the right and left side frame. There also is a spring loaded drive coupler that drives the exit roller that must be released at the right side. You'll need to remove the right and left side cover to unplug and detangle the wiring to the fuser.

Glossy paper is not a suitable media, and will damage the fuser every time.

I don't give away manuals, but Paul has a manual available.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
