This machine is calling for toner. I replaced it with new toner cartridge and ran for about 500 copies and now displays check toner again and won't allow printing of any kind. The new cartridge is still full not sure if toner sensor is bad or toner is not being added to the system. I checked the toner motor and it turns, but if I turn the drive mechanism on the rear of the cartridge, no toner seems to come out of it. Anybody with any kind of experience on this machine please advice. Thanks.

On it's (slightly) bigger brother the 6555 i've seen the toner bottle driver plunger get stuck @ the in position, it would turn with the motor but because it was stuck "in" when the toner was inserted the drive wouldnt snap "out" into the bottle to properly drive it..
Just a thought!
