[CQ] Samsung SCX 6345 Light Copies

This machine has light copies and I am not sure what I am missing here. I changed the Toner Auger drive Gear and thought I had it fixed. Turns out I didn't. Changed the drum unit with no effect. What can I do to get the CQ darker ? Any ideas would be so helpful...

If your machine doesn't have separate drum and toner cartridges (I don't work on Samsung equipment that often, so I'm not sure), please ignore the rest of this as it will be a stupid waste of time.

It kind of sounds like you have a bad toner cartridge. I have seen where some of the toner in a toner cartridge fuses together, which can cause the machine to act like toner is being fed when it really isn't.
To find out if that is the case, you'll probably need to try a toner cartridge that you know actually works.
If the copies are really light, you might want to make 10 to 20 copies of a blank piece of paper before copying any test pattern to see if the print quality is actually improving.

You're not far from the mark, Iowatech. It is a separate developing unit/toner cartridge and drum/cleaning unit. It's mono-component developing with a rubber S-blade, so small contaminants can collect under the S-blade affecting the image quality before it's empty. I know of no way to clean the rubber S-blade without having your own personal toner bomb explosion, so just change out the toner cartridge. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
