Sharp MX-2600 scanning very slow

I bought an off lease Sharp MX-2600. We set up scan to folder in our office. The problem was that the copier scanned very slow,like two minutes from start to finish. The scans did eventually get to the folder. We checked compression and all the usual stuff, I decided that maybe it was a windows 10 issue until I delivered the copier and had the same problem on the customers windows 7 PC. As a last ditch effort I scrolled through the network settings on the control panel and tried a reset the nic. What ever was wrong it solved the problem. We did have to add the IP address but now it works great. Hope this helps someone.

its always good to run a sim 67-17 , 66-10 , 62-1, delete job log and nic card reset for used machines. Dont forget there is a new firmware for rendering issue fix for this model.

Hi scan to Usb stick.
eliminate the network to test.

Did you test to see if is scans slow with a cross over and a laptop?
