Agreed. I haven't spent much time with this mode. I'm sure there are protections to keep people from abusing it like you say and that's probably why Silviu is running into those trouble codes.

This special mode you speak of will not let you change data in the e-prom. Use the original eprom that came with machine.

First of all thank you for your advice, second I have already tried that, I have read already the eeprom information, but seem that I have no use for it because it is a hex/binary code in order to get further with my work I have to get all that information a flash file, and to be honest it dose not worth my time to be invested so much in reverse engineering

I am not interested in resetting the count that won`t help me at all, and is not a problem about options , anyway it was mostly an engineer, deep digging, thank you .

What makes you say that?
Granted I haven't done it on the models he was specifically asking about. That being said we have reset the counts in the eeprom in models like the MXM350.

Again is not a matter of resetting counters , is more a matter o relay on a machine , so let`s say for instance you will have a dead eeprom on a machine to get new one from sharp it can take you up to 4 wks to get it programmed in japan and sent to you

u2-30, mfp eeprom serial no. not match with pcu serial no. u already alter the eeprom info.
