There is no AR-M231 in Sharp's US lineup that I'm aware of.

Do a 22-6 print out and confirm the serial number on it is the same as the one that was registered. Back panel and board swaps can cause some confusion in that area.

      How about AR-M237?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It is very easy to register the scanner key to the wrong serial number. I am aware of several occasions when this has happened. To avoid this I always check the serial # tag on the back cover and the 22-6 printoff, then re-check a third time before entering the digits onto the website.
