Arm 207 first copy out !!

customer , is saying it takes too long for the first copy out..
when they put the oringinal in the doc feeder or on the glass
and push the print button they have to wait about 7 seconds
before the machine starts to copy and then it takes 7 seconds from there
to complete one copy.. after that as long as you don't let the machine sit for more than 2 minutes it makes copies right away...

it sounds like it's just a fuser pre-warmup cycle
is there any way to disable this...

there analog unit has no warm up and just makes copies instantly
when the print button is activated..

any thoughts.....pre-warmup in key op mode is set to 240min.

For starters you cannot shut off the energy saver mode. You've already done as much as possible in that regard by setting the timer in key op mode to 240 minutes.

Technically you are within specs. For tray #1 the first copy speed is 7.2 seconds or less. For tray #2 the first copy speed is 8.5 seconds or less.

As you get toward the bottom of the toner supply there will be some delay while the last bit of toner is being fed from the toner cartridge.

Mostly though I see this as an exercise in futility. Anyone thinking that a Pegasus is a high speed copier has another thing coming. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

BTW, leaving the pre-heat mode that high will mean that the machine will start crumbling to pieces eventually.

I had the same issue about two-years ago with a client having the same complaint. Nothing you can do but to explain that this machine is printer based and this is how it operates. If they want faster, upgrade them to an M237 or M257. This how I solved their issue of speed.
