    [CQ] Ar-m455u light prints.

So I've been here a few times. It's printing light. Let me tell you what I have done.

I have replaced the developer. Developing unit. Transfer roller. Drum. Charger. Opened laser unit and cleaned it.

    Toner motor activation OK.

    What should I do?

Look for toner dust on the slit glass in front of the LSU. Another possibility is that the drawer is not fully closing on the left side.

Thank you for your fast response. I will check these right now. I noticed that after Sim 25-1 for the toner server output, I got an F2-39 code.

F2-39 Is a process thermistor trouble.

However, the DV UNIT is new.

I'll get back to this after I check the things you've mentioned.

I reseated every cable and harness in PCU PWB.

It's better. Hmm... I'm going to replace this board. I wonder if they are still available.

Thank you all for your advice.

I not absolutely sure, but I think the process thermistor might be in the drum unit. Did you replace just the drum or the whole unit?

The temperature/humidity sensor (HUS-DV) is on the developing unit. Since you've already changed the developing unit, I would then pin out the connections to CN8 on the PCU (pins 4, 5, 10, 11). If everything pins out properly, then all that's left is the PCU.

Is that 127 degrees Farenheit? Is there any chance that's an accurate reading? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The thermistor is inside the DV unit, which was replaced a 2 months ago, (10 thousand pages). But, like I mentioned, I replaced the Drum, Blade, and Charger in the Process Unit.

I reseated that cable attached to CN8. I haven't checked individual pins. I will replace the board if I find it. If not, the print quality now is good enough for me.

                      Thank you for your responses.

Check also scan lamp and scan lamp pwb. I have seen a problem very similar to this only once and it turned out to be the transfer roller assy not seating correctly when the left door is closed. good luck
When I started servicing copiers they used toaster ovens for fusers.....I'm old
