My printer has an error message h5-01. I know I have to clear the paper and input p*c*interrupt*c*interrupt*14*start but whenever I press P, nothing happens
Nothing is suppose to happen when you press 'P'.... follow the sequence 'P' Star 'C' Star, THEN the display will go blank... input the number 14 and press 'Start' ...
What Model of machine?

I see. Ar-C270. got it to works. thanks johnbla. although another thing is someone printed glossy paper in it, now the fuser (?) melted the paper, leaving pieces of it on the fuser. I also saw some of the red layer scrapped off. Is this going to be a problem?
If the coating of the Fuser roller or the Pressure roller is damaged ... it will cause copy quality problems... print missing or additional marks on the paper... this will get Progressively worse, until every copy causes jams in the Fuser..
Best to get someone 'Sharp' qualified to look at it.
