Customer called with this today. I understand it is a lift code for tray 1. Does openinf and closing the trays usually take care of this? I thought I had this once on tray 2(U6-02) and there was nothing actually wrong. Thank you for any help. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

You need to execute SIM 15 to clear the tray trouble. -
Usually what causes this is the customer setting the endstop back too far then installing paper to the end stop. The paper misses the paper empty sensor, and the lift motor keep driving until an overcurrent condition occurs. It's trying to push the paper through the upper frame.
Yes, usually sim 15 will reset this with no additional damage. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
