Re: 753 fusing
do a skyshot.....
panic stop machine with lead edge into fuser.
remove jam backward and check nip width
should be even front to rear.
if not, with what you have replaced......definitely try press roll

Re: 753 fusing
I'll bet that 8 1/2 X 11R or legal fuses properly... sound like the press roller to meLeave a comment:

Re: 753 fusing
The only other thing that I would suggest is swapping the fuser if possible? It is fuser related, and has to be a unit problem if temps are all ok. It would seem to me that there is something off with the pressure then.Leave a comment:

Re: 753 fusing
Pressure release screws are totally loose...UFR replaced, new collars, new bearings, new spacers. All 3 lamps have continuity.Leave a comment:

Re: 753 fusing
I have seen, on occasion, the pressure springs break in Sharps. I'm not meaning to put down your intelligence, but when the pressure is on in these the screws need to be completely loose (as in you think they will fall out). The reason I say this is because we have had techs swear the pressure was on in these fusers, and I have found they were thinking backwards. Have you replaced the collars that go inside the hot roller bearings?Leave a comment:

Re: 753 fusing
Yes, pressure is released fully both ends. Anyone had these springs relax or wear out ?

Re: 753 fusing
Ive got a 753 not fusing on top n bottom of paper (8 1/2 x 11). Basically front n rear of fuser. Have replaced lfr, bearings, webs. Does not appear to be anything bent or otherwise out of sorts. Temps ok. Actually runs smooth. Seems to b the first 1"-1 1/2" from top and bottom, middle3/4 of page ok. ????? Been at this 18 years. Never ran into this.Leave a comment:
