    do a skyshot.....

panic stop machine with lead edge into fuser.

remove jam backward and check nip width

should be even front to rear.

if not, with what you have replaced......definitely try press roll

I'll bet that 8 1/2 X 11R or legal fuses properly... sound like the press roller to me

The only other thing that I would suggest is swapping the fuser if possible? It is fuser related, and has to be a unit problem if temps are all ok. It would seem to me that there is something off with the pressure then.

I have seen, on occasion, the pressure springs break in Sharps. I'm not meaning to put down your intelligence, but when the pressure is on in these the screws need to be completely loose (as in you think they will fall out). The reason I say this is because we have had techs swear the pressure was on in these fusers, and I have found they were thinking backwards. Have you replaced the collars that go inside the hot roller bearings?

Yes, pressure is released fully both ends. Anyone had these springs relax or wear out ?

    Thanks

Sorry for asking, but are the pressure release screws loose?
