AR-M 237 with job seperator tray

I have this AR-M 237 doing something weird, it has the job sep. tray and a fax option on it, when printing a fax to the job sep tray, the copy comes part way out and just stops, no jam code, just stops, acting like the tray is full, but it has only the one copy in it. there is a sensor arm for that tray, and the sensor behind the plate is working, but not sure whats causing it to act this way, take the job sep tray off, and it still does it.
I had it working some months ago, but other techs have worked on it since then, and I am not sure how the sensor arm on the tray and sensor work together to show tray full.
    Any Ideas, thanks

Check 26-1 & make sure the sep tray wasn't coded out. That should be the only reason it wouldn't show jam.
    Hope that helps !

So, if you send a copy or a print to the job separator it feeds out OK? I too suspect that it should affect any prints to the job separator, and probably is an offset home position error. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Job sep

Have not had a chance to go back and check the options, but the job sep tray is on the upper exit roller unit, the lower one has the offset unit on it, and the upper is the one acting up

          sep tray

Figured it out, it was the POD2 sensor, it would show good in SIM mode, but when running machine it would go faulty, paper came out and stoped, when checked, the sensor would not show a state change, swapped sensor, it started working like it should.
Now, the SM shows the sensors, but there names are swapped arround in the SM.
It was the POD2 sensor, but it would not show a jam condition, just paper stops part way out.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm ???

Congratulations. The intermittent ones are the worst to diagnose. =^..^=
