    Sharp MX6500/7500 Dev drive motors

    Hi all just wondering if any of you are experiencing this issue on the MX6500 or MX7500. Basically the dev drive motor shaft is wearing away. We have 2 of these and both seem to be eating the shafts away which is strange because its a steel chafted motor running against nylon gears but the gears look fine!! Its gets to the point were it drops a colour from the copy as there is no drive.
    Everything is free running in the drive unit as is the dev unit. So we are a little baffled to say the least. Anyone have any ideas or mods.

      We have the same thing happening on the MX-xx70's

          There was another thread describing a similar condition. It is due to a redesign which uses only one motor to drive all four developer units.
