Drum reset code on sharp Al1661cs

i got a call from and end user saying that her sharp copier is saying needs new drum. she has bought two new drums and is still getting an error reading replace drum. this is keeping the machine from printing. i did some searching on the web and found that there is in fact a drum reset code sequence but was unable to get it to work. i dont think the sequence was right. could some one please explain to me the sequence so i can get this lad'ys machine up and running.

Hi,
As far as I can remember I do not think you can reset the drum in the engineer codes. The reset is carried out by the mechanism at the rear or the drum. Ether the drums are not new ones or there is a fault in the sensor at the rear of the machine where the drum fits.

24-7 is the drum reset code for the commercial version of that machine. Not sure if it'll work or not. c>exp>c>exp 24 start 7 start.
