Initiate a scan on sharp printers using webpage

On HP printers there is an option (a way) to launch prints and/or scans using the web page or an window app,
    my question is:
Is it possible or is there a way to Initiate a scan on sharp printers using webpage? like MX 3070 etc....

    Use Network Scanner Tool Lite:
Network Scanner Tool Lite | Sharp Digital MFPs / Printers | Sharp Global

The download is part of the Software section of the Download Centre, if you search for any model it will appear there.

I don't think so. I have always had to use an app like ridgemill suggests. Network scanner tool lite works very well compared to it's previous iteration as sharpdesk.

      Good luck.

        What's the purpose ?
You can use VNC to connect directly on the screen and use it from your computer for example.

I'm guessing they want something like Twain scanning... yanno, the out of date scanning method from 1982?

But why from a webpage ?
I have a customer with a specific software that need to use TWAIN, she just put the Sharp in PC mode then scan from the software.

Sharp TWAIN used to be irritatingly slow almost to the point of useless, not sure about these days

most software that needs TWAIN can also watch a folder for new documents to process unless of course the software is ancient

It's a very specific software that only accept TWAIN, nothing else 🤷‍♀️
