Hello Fellow Techs,
We have a bunch of Sharp Mono Copiers from the 70/71 generation that always develop strong grey backgrounding and sometimes even gritty print, print job comes out feeling almost like sand paper. Clearly pulling developer right onto the page. This was not an issue with previous Sharp Mono copiers for us. Any tech tips for these. When we service them for this issue we change the following
OEM TONER IS ONLY USED and Firmware is Updated!
MX609CH/ MX609MC/ MX560DR and MX561NV
then run 25-02 and a full calibration
This fixes the issue but, I have a lot of machines where the problem will return within 6-12 months and with less than 50,000 pages being printed. To me it looks like too much voltage is being applied to the charge unit and can even burn the drum or charger out.
any tips would be appreciated!
