    Print release MX5071

We have a client where, when certain people log into the machine with their pin, some files are shown in the print release section.

The files can not be deleted
The files can not be printed

The machine says 'document is in use' when trying to delete them.

User has been made admin - no difference
Delete stored data after specified time has been set to 1 day + reboot - NOK
"Delete all" has been done on webpage - NOK

Files can not be seen in document operations, but i'm not sure if they usually show up there?
they can only be seen if the specific user signs in on the machine itself.

Is there a way to delete these files without resetting the whole machine?

You could try 66-10, Image Memory Clear, and I will also suggest to BACKUP THE HARD DRIVE. It WILL fail. Not IF, it definitely fail and you'll have problems.

How is the HDD? Print release taxes those Toshiba drives heavily. It gets replaced AT LEAST once in its ~5 year life if running print release.

          some more tests:

delete user/remake user : files stay in print release
change username: files stay in print release
          change pin: files are gone

So the files are coupled to the pin of the user.
This makes sense as the user authenticates with the pin on his pc.

But how do i get rid of the bad files? (without having to change all the pins)
