    Developer the same?

I work mostly on Kon/Min but have a small church with a AR-M317 I've been servicing for years. Same old story, they don't have money for a new one. Anyway question is can I use the AR-450ND developer in the AR-M317 which uses the AR-271ND developer? The AR-271 is 400g and AR-450ND is 450g. If the same developer I will remove 50g to use in the M317. Thanks in advance

Never tried it. They are different series machines. Let us know if it works.

This probably shouldn't considered an official procedure. In a pinch, I have used developer meant for different machines and it has worked. The labels should have the ingredients listed. If they are the same, you could likely get away with it. I can't say what type of machines these are. If they are a similar size, it might be ok. I can't remember if it was a Sharp or Toshiba, but once I used developer for a heavy machine in a lighter duty one. It came out with grey background. So that should be taken into consideration.
