Hi There I wonder if anyone has had this fault the Quality of the Black is very light and it seems to be raised, you can feel the toner thick on the paper it has also pulled the Black DV I have had to replace the DV already with 5 thousand copies only.

Check your charge roller, you need to arm them.
Pic is a bad example, it's to disarm the charge roller before moving.Attached Files -
Try Hart's suggestion, but I'm hoping it's not what we had to do. We had a 70C55 do the same thing, ended up replacing the MC PWB, and it was good. Our process unit and DV units looked perfect, but BK DV was still getting pulled. It was under warranty thankfully, so after swapping the parts from another machine temporarily, we got them back. We have 2 other machines that ALL DV is being pulled, still waiting on warranty stuff to go through so we can replace the stuff on them, too. They were from the same order of 50 machines, all 3 within the same serial lot, too.Comment

There is a bulletin with a special procedure to fix light black. TT-012325_1R1. It actually works to fix this problem.Comment

I think the DV pull is related to the light copy problem especially if they have the light black copies and prints and then run out of toner. shortly after putting a new toner in, the DV unit empties itself. The bulletin TT-012325_1R1 solved this problem. Credit to sharp for coming up with a fix for a problem they created for a change.👍 3Comment

Hmmmm, that's (UKOG-0356FCZZ} an $80 test chart last time we purchased one [years ago]. Pretty expensive fix from the factory!!! I see precision roller has them for $160
We have had this happen and just reseated drums and DV units and did a 46-74 to resolve the issue.👍 2Comment
