Sharp 70M45 says network time out error when scanning large jobs of 10 to 50 pages

when i scan on my sharp machine it gives the error message of network error time out error. It happens when scanning large jobs of 10 to 50 pages. It happens when scanning to both email and network folders. I have restarted the machine and taken out the ethernet cable many times same issue still occurs.

This isn't the same customer as that 476W with a similar issue is it?

If it's not, does it scan to USB okay? If it does, then it might not be the machine as it could be a network issue.

It is a different issue. When this client scans large documents to email and folder it says network error time out error. I have updated the firmware and still does the same thing. I checked the file size for scan to email and it is set to maximum. What on their network could be blocking large scans of upto 70 pages reaching their email or their network folders? This machine is BP-70M45.

Try a different network port, faulty ports on the hub/router/switch could be dropping the connection.

If it happens with both SMB and email, you can rule out antivirus, but there may be a block on the firewall.

Where would i check on the firewall? This machine was scanning to email and folders before.

My guess would be a connection issue. It could be temporarily dropping off here and there. Try using command prompt, use the ping command with -t at the end to continuously ping something else on the network.

                What about pinging WHILE scanning?
