Well I Jumped into it and it looks like the wire harnesses have different connectors. Wired slightly different also Well it was worth a shot...

I would say no. The lamps are different. However if you had a 3050 fuser you could transfer all of the parts from the 5050 fuser and it would work just fine.

Can you convert a MX5050 Fuser to a MX3050 Fuser ? They look exactly the same except for the Male bar in the back and the connector... Thanks so much for any comments !!
