    "Settings have been changed..."

Is there a way to disable the message that appears on the screen of the copier, that indicates changes have been made via web interface...blah blah blah?

The reason I ask is I have remote access to several school districts. When making changes to the machines, the end users always see this message and they panic.....they employ the old, "We are out of ideas, we have tried nothing", routine.

It would just be convenient not to have to explain what this message means 5 times a day.

    TIA

Sounds like you need to do this when you are at home relaxing on your couch just before bedtime and reboot like ron said. Demand double pay.

Go to Common Settings > Operation Settings > Uncheck Display Status Notification Message

That is a great question in which I do not know the answer to. Probably a question for Sharp, and/or your DSS.

I found these two things in the USer Manuals.

Display Status Notification Message: Show a confirmation dialog box when a job is canceled.

Display Status Notification Message: Set whether to display a notification message when a job is completed.

Another thing this also disables is the Data Clearing message when a Data Security Kit is installed! Haven't figured out what else it does, but this is nearly game-changing for customers! It still makes us reenter simulation when switching between printing modes (ex. 64-1, then 23-2), but otherwise haven't found any other reason why this setting isn't a big deal to disable.

Is there a similar option on the 5070 series? I don't see it following the instructions here...
It's not that important for me, but it might help others too.

For models prior to MX-2651 you will need to set SIM55-3, SW 29, BIT 7 to 1, to disable the popup.
