    USB printing ar235

Have a problem changing parts between AR-M208N and an AR-235.
I had an AR-M208N installed at a customers site. They now want an AR-235. however when I switched the GDI AR-P11 from the M208N to the AR-235 copier gets stuck in system check screen. As far as I can tell these boards should be interchangeable? If not can anyone tell me how I can get my AR235 to print via USB?? I can not find anything in manual about USB printing support. ANY HELP would be great THANKS!!!

First off, the AR-235 does not support GDI printing nor does it have a USB port. Its either PCL/PPD via LAN/Parallel or nothing at all, unless there is some difference between the EU and US versions. The fact that the AR-M208 managed to print using GDI and has a USB port suggests a different architecture and therefore hints at an incompatibility.

However, I fear I cant help you since the EU market has never seen the AR-M208. But are you sure you didnt mess up on the part names? Did you try SIM 22-10 to see whats installed on either machine? Even if there is no printing board in the AR-235 it would still list the required part.
