    ARM350 L8-01

    I have replaced PWB, PCU, HVT, Laser, MFP when unplugged scanner i get H2-01 checked fuser continuity of lamps and thermistors all good when fuser goes back in and error codes reset i get install fuser unit and F2-00 also cleaned main charge and started m/c while unplugging individual motors fans and options!!! been on it all day going back tomoz with new fuser any hints would be gratefully accepted.

      I have never run across the problem, but maybe there is a bad connection to the transfer unit, or any other HV unit.

          Model name:
          ARM350, ARM450

          Symptom:
          L8-01 Fault Code

          Cause:
          No 12v on CN1 pin 3 of the PCU pwb coming from the Mother pwb.

          Action:
          Replace the Mother pwb. ( CPWBN1460FCE5)

          Tech Support
          This was on the canadian Sharpnet so double check the part number as this part# came from a 120V machine. This is the board that you gotta tear the dam machine down and rip that metal cover off under the exit tray.

              I have stripped one of the Mother boards out and was going to try that yesturday but ran out of time we all hmmed and arrd about wether it would be that but was leaning more to the laser or scanner, so today we will attack the mother board!!

                  L8-01 is No Full Wave Signal.

                  I personally would start out with the power quality analyzer. An open ground might account for all the un-accountable codes. =^..^=
                  If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      Check for blown fuse in the power supply. Also check the flat cable to the mother pwb.
