    Sharp AR-336 F9-00 Code

Our Company has a Sharp AR-336 in shop with the print kit installed. Once we set the system to recognize the Print Kit it came up with a F9-00 Code.
We also need to know where the Meter Reading is Stored, Which Board and where that board is. We presumed it was on the main Logic board but no Luck there, we need reply's to this ASAP.

    Thanks

First try a simple reset P*C*, 14, Start, CA. Allow the MFP to complete initialization be connecting the network cable.

If that doesn't work check that the SCSI cable is connected to the correct port, and that the port is enabled in simulation 24-44, A & B, set the port used to #1, the one not used to #0.

If that doesn't help, you may have to replace the print card (if you can find one), (CPWBN1275FC52).

The count and serial # are stored on the PCU EEPROM, so don't get tricky and try switching EEPROMS to lower the count. It will error out with a serial # mismatch.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Thanks for the Help!!

Thank you for the Information, My Senior Technician believes that the Product Serial Number that is stored on the customers computer they print off of is the solution to our print issues. As far as the F9-00 code this was resolved by setting that port you referenced to 1 from 0.
So we hope to redeliver the machine to the client tomorrow and connect to their network and be able to print. (Fingers Crossed)

As far as the Meter count he's not trying to change it, the board we had to use is off a machine with only 200k copies on it, our clients machine had 600K+ on it so we were trying to set that back up properly.
I'm sure the client would love a machine with another 4 years of life in it vs. their machine that was almost on it's last leg.

      Thanks again for the post

It's pretty simple. Up or down arrow to highlight the appropriate line, number keys to change the value, OK to lock it in.

A service manual might help out in this situation. =^..^=
