As a wholesaler of used copiers we get a lot of different makes and models of equipment. We have no access to manuals other the Itravia Books. We do not have the latest version for the above machine and would appreciate any information on this code and possible resolutions. Thanks in advance for any help!

You'll be delighted to know that we have a local manual provider right here. Go to The Internet's largest collection of manuals
The L4-06 is a transfer belt separation motor error. To diagnose it you'll need to do a simulation 14 reset. Most likely you've got a seized bearing in the transfer belt unit, or a ripped transfer belt. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You can check that tranfer belt using simulation 6-1. To get in service mode press #, *, C, *. The maintenance kit for the transfer belt is AR-620 KB. I hope this helps.Comment
