    Intermittent ERROR CODE E7-06


    Decode error trouble: Compression
    decode error (A compression file cannot
    decompressed.)

    Any ideas? Probably happens once a month if that.

      There is new Firmware for the new MX series. Included in the new firmware release bulletins are details of the E7-06 fixes.
      This is a common error, especially if you have a fax kit installed.
      New firmware definitely repair this error permanently. If you have a fax stuck in the queue that continuously causes the error, run sim 66-10 to clear image memory (you wont lose anything, no need for device clone first etc etc). Run latest firmware, issues solved.

      There is ALOT of fixes in the last 2 revisions. C-Jupiter 2 & Pastel 2 machines MUST have the latest firmware.
      Also, run a full color calibration after the firmware upgrade. Run 46-74 as it performs the old 46-24 & 67-24 in one go.
