    ARM-165 jamming

check that there is no paper stuck behind the draw?if not take paper draw out of machine and check that switch has not being knock out of place, this will be at the top if you get a torch and look upwards push to see if it returns? To get fuser out take the door off to the righthand side and if you look to the right of it theres one screw remove, take cover off, then two connector plugs after this remove three swrews that hold fuser in place.Once this is done the fuser unit will be free but watch cables as you take it out.Check to see if picka fingers are ok if not replace them and maybe oil supply pad, rollers if needed?Goodluck

by the way here in canada a whole fuser is same price "dealer cost anyways" as a rebuild BEFORE labour. if the machine jams with no paper in the paper path i would check the tires... (also clean and relube the feed clutches) there may possibly be an update to the feed tires requiring you to order the whole paper feed shaft assy thus updateing them to "quick change" tires. (RECOMMENDED) if the tires are worn it can skew the paper. also check the reg rollers and transport rollers ... make sure they are clean.. and that the bushings are properly located in the housings at the ends... had a bushing pop out once and the pressure was uneven making a skew.....
      I fix copiers ...Well Sorta

Assuming this is the equivalent of our AR-M162/AR-M207 the feed tires & separation pawls in the cassette have been changed for the reasons you state.
        Hope that helps !
