If it's an F2-00, too much toner got into the DV. You'll have to replace the toner roller & developer.
IMO not worth it. The Sharp AR-501/505/507 were one of Sharps worst in recent history. As of yesterday, we only have 1 more left to get out of the field.Comment

you dont have to replace the DV, after replacing the roller (and side seals) and re adding the toner, run a 25-1 with the charge unit out,( it will c1-00 but hit exec again and it will run) it will pull excess toner to the drum until the DV reference is back to the 100-130 range (you will have to stop the sim it wont do it for you), if you do it this way you will have to reclean the trans/sep unit, maybe the pre fuser transport, I'd also pull the drum afterward and reclean the cleaner unit, and mylars below the dv unit, maybe also a quick vac of the waste toner pipe. Thats the way I do it.Last edited by Nachoman4life; 10-15-2009, 05:24 PM.Where the heck is my spring hook?Comment

Try searching "Sharp foam roller". You'll find a half dozen posts on this subject. If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
