    arm550 fuser

    hello all
I have recently started rebuilding arm550 fuser units and i was wondering what all parts/part numbers need to be replaced. I can see a fuzzy oil roller that probably needs replaced yet can't find a part number for it/ kit that has this part. if anyone could give me a list of arm550 fuser kits/ part numbers to properly rebuild this unit, it would be greatly appreciated.
    THANKS

I wouldn't rebuild these units unless they are the latest version; the AR-703FU1 has a cost that isn't that much more than the parts needed for rebuilding.
Ar-620UH, AR-620LH, AR-701RC (fuzzy oil roller), upper and lower fuser bearings, thermisters and lamps if needed and with the man hours involved, just order the AR-703FU1.

In addition to AR-620UH, AR-620LH, AR-620 HR, & AR-701RC at each rebuild you'll need the following at 1M:
      (2) NBRGY0729FCZZ upper bearings
      (2) NBRGY0724FCZZ lower bearings
      (1) PGIDM2046FCZZ upper pawl holder/guide
      (1) PGIDM2044FCZZ inner fuser inlet guide

      Then you'll need at 2.5M
      (1) NGERH1594FCZZ Upper Roller Gear 48T

I've changed a few thermistors, but not at any regular interval.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

To simply follow on from the guys information already provided, I have attached the service bulletin relating to the fuser unit changes and modifications along the way.

But, I highly agree with Zootech.... just order a few 703FU units and refurb those. Alot less work involved, and they are a much better & reliable unit.
