    arm 207 U9-81

hey first of all happy new year to all
Ok now the issue i have been having is on an arm207, the machine will do around 20 copies and then freeze and then throw up either U9-81 or U9_88. now when you reboot the machine and look in the error log, it is displaying the error code L6_10 (LSU lock) or L4 (main motor lock), i have tried replaceing the LSU, main board, power supply, display pannel and main motor. with no success im all out of ideas, anyone else had a similar problem or have any ideas would be welcome.
    thanks
    Nick

MCU board/Panel board or harness trouble.

Did you install the correct main board?

What a menagerie of codes! All these codes couldn't have occurred at once. What order did they occur?

The U9 codes are about operation panel communication, L6-10 laser, L4 main motor.

I think wazza is on the right track. Are you swapping parts out of a Panther, trying to diagnose your Pegasus? An AR-207 is not remotely similar to an AR-M207 electrically. The boards are completely different. Mechanically they are very similar. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

nope all parts used are from an identical arm207, the order of the codes were all over the place, as i said before the only error codes being displayed once the machine locks up were the 2 U9 codes (U9_88,U9_81) the L6 code and the L4 codes were only recorded in sim 22, 15. however the U9 codes were not recorded there, i have been scratching my head over this one... oh also worth a mention we originally had the main board sent back to sharp for repairs (issue was happening before we did so) and still continued after reinstalling once it was send back. could connections or the cables cause this issue?

Well, both of the U9 codes list the MCU/Panel Harness as a possible cause of the problem. If you have already replaced the MCU & Panel Pwb's (also as listed as possible causes), then I'd be having a thorough look at that harness & connections.

It would be pretty rare for a board repair pwb to come back faulty.

You are definitely using the original EEPROM? Firmware is up-to-date?
