Hey guys,
So last week after installing a new machine the customer calls back saying it won't stop running, every 30 seconds the machine starts up like it's about to print and then stops.
After going there a few times and never being able to replicate this i finally caught it on Friday and sure enough every 30 seconds the fuser motor would fire up and run for 15 seconds. After talking to the guys at Sharp we narrowed the problem down. The customers office temp is to low. If sensor TH_M drops below 18C (64.4F) the fuser motor will fire up every 30 seconds. My machine is on a outside wall and near a window so my guess is there is a draft and it's just enough to push the temp down. I checked 44-14 and my machine was at 17.6
Just something to keep a eye out for. I tried swapping the fuser thinking it was a preasure release problem and i was just about to swap out the machine since the customer was starting to get annoyed. Things could of got expensive real quick.
