The machine is a used machine that likes to print out a paper with cleaning paper written across it in between my print jobs. I dont see a way to turn it off or anything on the sharp tech site. Im sure this is some easy option to turn off. Ideas?

you could try setting 26-6 to a different country reboot, change it back, then reboot again. This wipes all settings however I don't think that will fix it. My guess is you'll have to call the hotline as there's probably a key sequence that the factory uses that was inadvertantly turned on. -
That was one of the failed attempts to control the toner chip buildup in the fuser, then sprinkling it all over the prints. After only two years Sharp finally decided to redesign the fuser. This probably just a left over bit of firmware that has not yet been removed. If I remember correctly, there was a sim to turn on the cleaning sheet function, so you should be able to turn it back off. I dug through the bulletins, but couldn't find the specific one.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

None of my machines ever had that but i'd imagine if the machine was upgraded to the latest firmware it would go away.
At PM time just make sure you have your self a AR703FU1 fuser (north america supply#) so you get the upgraded frame with the oil roller. If i remember the price on that fuser is like 290 bucks and to rebuild it is like 300. If you put bearings in it's definatly cheaper. Saves a ton of tech time to.
3 weeks ago i had a ARM550 go 400k in a school on it's PM and the fuser looked pretty good. Didn't want to try 800k though. These guys don't call in until it breaksEvil will always triumph because good is dumb.Comment
