    rpn1999: I think you missed that this problem is fixed. I usually stop fixing when the symptoms abate.
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I'm glad the problem got fixed. I missed that part. And I appriciate your input wazza. And generally you are correct and that is the usual case. But I happen to have a lift motor at the office right now, with a twisted shaft that was caused not from age, but by overfilling the trays over time. And it will the same exact thing this thing was doing because it just lifts enough to barely touch the lift detection sensor. When you start runnng it the shaft doesn't turn as fast as it should during the job, and eventually it tries to pick up the paper that isn't quite lifted and jams.
