    AR-M237 dumping developer

I have a problem with a 237 dumping DV. I replaced the DV, drum, blade, mc unit, right side door, and tc unit. I did everything that the Sharp hotline said. Still not cleaning drum completely, but it cleans when I manually turn drum myself. DV was dumped in the back, and it could have ruined a board. Would a firmware upgrade work? I'm open to suggestions to what could be causing this problem. It has only 30k copies.

All you need to do is checking the main charge or the contact spring which is contact to the maincharge
Note: sometime the spring contact have offline ( not correctly firm seated ) make sure when you open the drum unit out, take a look at those three contact to the main charge , I belive you will solve that problem

Did you replace the drum with a new one or rebuild it? On the charge unit there is a metal flange (hook) near the middle that has to hook into the plastic of the drum unit. If this is not properly positioned it will drag all of the DV out of your machine, the drum will fit into the unit even with the plastic bowed out a little bit. Hope this is helpful.

      Good luck.

Hey, I did that once... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I was referring to Bilyan's comment about not getting the primary charge unit hooked in properly at the center. It added an unscheduled 30 minutes to the PM I was doing. Honestly, it's kinda hard to see even when you're looking right at it. =^..^=
