    AR-M355 w/AR-MU2

The multi-purpose tray. AR-MU2 always displays "extra" as the paper size. I have 3 machines that do this so I have been thinking it was normal. One of them is now shifting the image off the page when they run legal size. Legal is fine in the by-pass but in tray 2 it shifts the image towards the front about 3 inches. I paper size detect switches in that bay. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you. 40-2 is the adjustment for the manual feed but it led me to 40-12 which is the adjustment for the multi-purpose tray (tray 2). It worked great on my machine here. I will try it on the field machine and see what happens. Thanks again.

Sharp's paper size designation "Extra" has led to plenty of confusion over the years. The machine says: "Load Extra paper." What?! There isn't enough paper in the tray? One page should be enough.

No...Extra is the paper size, not how much. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
