    Sharp AR-M355N

Have an issue that's got me baffled. The Drum/Processing Unit - as it turns, makes a clicking noise. I have updated the Firm, Changed out the Precessing Unit serveral times. When I do this the Unit is good for about a month or so, but when I go back to this machine, I'm hearing the clicking noise once again.

I know the Unit is binding up, but I obviously can't get a fix on how to stop it.

Has anyone run into this before?

The clicking noise you having might be a worn teeth of gear on bias transfer roller shaft. I think the reason why it works ok after replacing the process unit was that the drum's gear side is good enough to mesh with the worn bias transfer gear. After few runs the drum's gear also get worn out thus producing the clicking noise.

You need to replace the gear together with the drum.
I had a similar situation before and changing the gear & drum resolved it.

I agree wuth rayjeek. I replace the tranfer roller gear every other PM, ~200K. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What I recall of that model was that it was much like the MX550 in that the gears in the front of the process unit that auger toner into waste area lock and strip as the waste area filled before the toner bottle was empty.
