    Sharp MX350N

Hi, I have one of these that shows an error code: U2-23, a memory error that can be reset with sim 16, problem is that it doesn't seem to have the same code to get into diagnostics as the older AR-M355/455 which used Program * Clear * !! I've servicing this as a like machine to the AR-M355 ... anyone know the correct Sim Code or Diagnostics code ??
    Thanks, Mike

You have the right code, are you in copy mode to start with?

      LOL! I've done that! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well ... probably !! cuz I could swear it worked last time !! the office this one is in is connected - and I'll bet someone had printed to it ...

Would the error code cause it to stay in either data or scan ?? ( think thats what the modes are called ) but I will go back and check this one out !!

Is the MX 350 manual substatially different than the AR-M355 manual ??? - wondering if I should get that one !!

        Thanks, Mike

They are almost identical. Same issues as the 355/455 too.

Sounds like the car companies, change a bit of trim, offer a new choice of colors and it's a new model !!
